Feels like I've danced with the devil
Too many times in my short life.
Stared him straight in his ugly eye
As he stared right back at mine.
And as we danced, he'd whisper in my ear
All about his twisted life.
So he'd say that I'd see him soon,
And I dance with the devil tonight.

If roses are red and violets are blue,
then where does that leave me and you?
If curiosity killed the cat,
then maybe you should bring him back.
If two's company and three's a crowd,
then get out because it's getting loud.

Good night, sleep tight.
Don't let the bed bugs bite you awake
Because when you wake I'll be gone,
I'll be gone forever.

Nobody in the room is breathing
Silently, I shut the valve for the air they breathe in
Stop me, before the room is empty - I am empty.
I feel no human empathy.

And the fire that night
Sparked a fire inside of me.
But that fire won't last forever -
Every fire goes out eventually.

If life is just a game
Then why can't you reload what happened yesterday?
Have all your lives run out,
Or have you died and just clicked 'no'
When asked to try again?

_{Would like to write a poem regarding events surrounding when I suffered my depression and suicide attempts, but I can't seem to do it, both because it's just simply difficult to write and I don't want to sound attention-whorey or emo-ish. Still, I'm adamant in doing it, even if it does turn out slightly depressing.}
