Fly or Fall in 'Skydive: Proximity Flight'
I approached writing this review with some haste and delay. You see, as a very open-minded gamer with a strong focus on indie games, it pains me when I come across a generally reasonably-reviewed indie game that I simply didn't enjoy - even more-so if I have to review that game based on a free review key.
Skydive: Proximity Flight, developed by Gaijin Entertainment and released on the digital stores of the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360, is a skydiving game that sees you freefalling from the sky in a wingsuit in various game modes. It's a somewhat unusual concept that really piqued my interest when I was contacted about it and watched the trailer, b

Review: 'Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch'
The love-child of Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, upcoming 2013 RPG title Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (a PS3 version of Nintendo DS game Ni No Kuni: The Another World of which was not localized in the U.K. due to translation issues) has a lot to live up to, if not just because of past successes.
Level-5 are famed for their best-selling 'Professor Layton' franchise, whilst Studio Ghibli created Oscar-winning animated movie 'Spirited Away' along with some other sensational, critically-acclaimed features. These two working together should make it almost a given that this is something amazing.
Thankfully, that appears to be the case. Offici
So Alice, take me by the hand
So Alice, lost in Wonderland
Where Mad Hatter makes you tea
And the door can't find the key
Snatch that bottle from the table
With 'Drink Me' there on the label.
You'll shrink down to a small size
Catch the Rabbit - that's your real prize.
So Alice, where've you been today?
So Alice, where'd you run to play?
Was it down that Rabbit hole
Escaping boredom was your goal?
Follow the Rabbit for a while
Cheshire directs you with a smile
To the throne of the Queen of Hearts
Caught the Rabbit - now the trial starts.
So Alice, where's your Wonderland?
So Alice, do you understand
That there's no real Wond
Take a sip of this wine
The taste is so divine.
Take a sip of this wine
It may just end your life.
Take a sip of this wine
And love, don't dare decline
To take a sip of this wine.
You think it's poison, but the poison is me.
Intoxicating you with my stench;
The stench of lies
My only disguise.
Imprisoning you with my clench;
The clench of mine
It keeps everything fine.
You're staying here by my side
As if you had a choice - I've got you tied.
I've got you tied, and
Take a sip of this wine
The taste is so divine.
Take a sip of this wine
It may just end your life.
Take a sip of this wine
And love, don't dare decline

Feels like I've danced with the devil
Too many times in my short life.
Stared him straight in his ugly eye
As he stared right back at mine.
And as we danced, he'd whisper in my ear
All about his twisted life.
So he'd say that I'd see him soon,
And I dance with the devil tonight.

If roses are red and violets are blue,
then where does that leave me and you?
If curiosity killed the cat,
then maybe you should bring him back.
If two's company and three's a crowd,
then get out because it's getting loud.

Good night, sleep tight.
Don't let the bed bugs bite you awake
Because when you wake I'll be gone,
I'll be gone forever.
I sit at home, alone, listening to the radio,
Trying to drown out my thoughts and screams.
Whilst sitting there, I thought about my future
How it would end; the pain, my life, my dreams.
Ring, Ring
'Pick up the phone.
I know you're home because I heard you crying.'
Ring, Ring
'You're not alone.
You're not the only one who wishes they were dying.'
I lay in bed, alone, hating all the memories.
Wanting to recall where the end began.
Whilst laying there, I receive some phone calls.
They were from my one, my love, my Anne.
Ring, Ring
'Pick up the phone.
I know you're home because I heard you crying.'
Ring, Ring

I'm not the one with the reloaded gun pointed at my chest.
Step down and listen to mother because she might know best.
Disobedient, he goes ahead and pulls the trigger anyway.
And now poor old mother is alone and mourns every day.
Now the blood trickles on to the carpet;
Stains it with the colour of pretty roses
But now roses aren't red for me.
I'm not the one with the kitchen knife slicing at my wrist.
This cut just adds yet another self-injury to the list.
Enervated, she scratches away and tries to finish off the job.
So now the last sound the bathtub will hear is her sob.
Now the blood spills in to the water;
Dyes it with the c
